Hello. Im glad to finally find this forum again!
Over the years I had the whim to draw futuristic looking gladiators.
Now Im collaborating in a nerdy game project, they liked my idea and got some concept art commissioned.  
Could you help me decide with style direction to go? 
Which design do you prefer the most? 

I'm building a machine out of timber and rope to see if this could have been used to execute prisoners in mediaeval times.
It needs some improvements to make it more effective, like the addition of a windlass so the executioner can tighten the rope with enough force to impale the victim with ease.
This machine has the advantage of being able to use different weapons on different parts of the torso. For example, an arrow or spear could be driven through the left pec then through the heart, or a long knife into the central abs or navel. A wooden splint would first be tied to the back of each leg, so the prisoner would not be able to bend his knees to avoid being impaled properly. The machine would be mounted on a platform so the gathered crowd could get a clear view, as the executioner turns the windlass, tightening the rope slowly which pulls the prisoner onto the chosen weapon.
I'd be grateful for any comments on how to improve this design.

Not sure if you've heard of me, I go by the name Jack Steel and I create art and stories.

I've been on Patreon for a while now, but I've decided to close my page. As a result, I'm putting feelers out for anyone who might want commission work done. (I hope it's okay to post this thread... if not, please feel free to delete. I don't want to break any rules).

If you’d like a piece of artwork or a story tailored specifically to YOUR fantasies, I am at your service. Almost anything goes - stabbing, impaling, disemboweling, castration, beheading, skull-fucking, whatever you like really, just nothing underage. 
 
ARTWORK RATES
 
Prices for unique customized artwork will depend on what you're after and how complex the composition will be.

As a general idea, I would charge $120 US for a single character artwork.
For two characters, I would charge $180 US.
 
Again, it depends what you want.
 
The artwork will be tailored to exactly what you want - ie, age, look, hair, body type, style of death or attack (ie, sword, spear, knives, arrows, gunfire, etc), any clothing or jewelry or armor, etc. It's YOUR fantasy so I'll create it exactly as you wish. 
 
The artwork would then belong to you exclusively to do with as you wish.

STORY RATES
 
If you’d like a story written to fulfill a particular fantasy, rates are:
 
$175 US for 3,000 – 4,500 words
$225 US for 4,500 – 6,000 words
 
Once again, the story will belong to you to do with as you wish once paid in full.

Okay, we are having some in-fighting again.  Remember, we all love fighting with swords, spears, guns, arrows, fists, teeth, spikes and the occasional monster.  We celebrate the toxic masculinity of war, death and strife.  What we hate is verbal drama, that's for the ladies. 

While there is an occasional inappropriate post that needs to be reported (namely child-porn-type posts, or actual threats to harm others), there is no need to troll or degrade the work of others.

Just a friendly reminder to please keep comments civil.  This forum tries to cater to a variety of tastes.  If you see a story, video or artwork that doesn't suit your fancy, move on to the next one.  No need to trash on the people who posted in the comments.  Simple fact, you won't like every post.  Move on  to the next one or post something better.
